This gorgeous magnolia tree is part of the National Trust garden that used to belong to Otto Overbeck, nearly 100 hundred years ago. To highlight the age of this beauty, I opted to shoot sepia toned pictures.

..and right here is a day in the life on my boyfriend Mike who has been out taking photographs in the garden where we live/work. Follow him for lovely photographs!

All of my Studio Ghibli hoops.
Soot Sprites, No-Face, Totoro, Catbus, Calcifer, and Kodamas!

Always looking for suggestions to make new ones, obviously I’m more partial to the Ghibli creatures than the people. :)

loveandasandwich:

My photoset of Studio Ghibli hoops got so many reblogs I thought I should make one for my Star Wars hoops too. :)
These were the first embroidery hoops I’d ever done, and the Wampa is still one of my favorites!

Scott Pilgrim Valentine’s Day Cards by Liz Nelson

Take a break from battling your girlfriend or boyfriend’s bloodthirsty ex’s and take the time to tell them just how much you lesbians them.

Illustration I’ve been working on for a contest at my school. Not quite done yet, still needs some tweaking before I submit… I’m going to try to color calibrate it later. I’ve been on a fairytale / fantasy kick. Photoshop, pencil and paper.

The Tree, Before and After by Papy and Milouz

The TSF Crew painted this gorgeous mural last October in France, but like all good things in life, it had to be destroyed to make room for something else. Check out a time-lapse video of the guys chopping the tree down the street art way:
